Young Teen Asthma Camp

Young Teen Asthma Camp, for adolescents age 12-16, is offered at no charge to participants, and is supported by grants, private donations, and special events. The Young Teen Asthma Camp is sponsored by donors and the Alabama Pulmonary Medical Institute. The well-established program includes asthma education, optimal care for the condition by volunteer physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other professionals with expertise in asthma, 24 hours a day. Campers participate in regular camp activities including swimming, crafts, canoeing, hiking, nature, recreation, horseback riding and more.

The dates for the 2010 Young Teen Asthma camp have been set for Sunday, June 6 - Wednesday, June 9. Check back later for more information.
